About ANU
ANU have been hosting database driven web sites since 1996. Our goal is to provide our customers with a stable, fast and secure platform to deploy their solutions. We aim to provide a platform built using a mix of both cutting edge and tried, trusted technology. We work with our customers to create tailor made solutions - whether they require a simple site search program to be installed, a Java runtime environment or a complex clustering solution.
Our servers are housed in the Tele2 datacenter in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are connected to 5 transit providers totalling 5Gbps bandwidth and hundreds of additional peers via the AMS-IX internet exchange providing a total of 15Gbps throughput. For usage graphs and a list of transit providers and peers, please see the Rokscom NOC pages.
Our core switches utilise VRRP (Virtual Redundant Router Protocol) to eliminate the possibility of a router outage causing down time.
The Team
ANU is registered in Bristol, England but we operate as a distributed team of teleworkers. We utilise cutting edge technology such as VoIP (Voice over IP), fax-to-email and videoconferencing to create a virtual office.
The end result is a productive, cost effective team who are able to provide top quality service.
