Choose either the Lasso or PHP configuration:

Lasso Professional 8.5

• CentOS 4 Linux operating system with all the latest updates installed

• MySQL 5.0 database server

Lasso Server 9

• CentOS 5 Linux operating system with all the latest updates installed
  
• Lasso Server 9
• Apache 2.2 web server
• MySQL 5.0 database server

Lasso 8.5 and 9: this configuration is not officially supported by LassoSoft but is available on request. Anu does not recommend this configuration for mission critical sites.

PHP

• CentOS 5 Linux operating system with all the latest updates installed
• PHP 5.1
• Apache 2.2 web server
• MySQL 5.0 database server
• php-gd, php-mysql, php-soap, php-mbstring, php-odbc, php-xmlrpc, php-snmp, php-xml, php-mcrypt, etc. 

Additional software (all configurations)

• Webalizer for log file analysis and reporting
• Postfix for outgoing email
• OpenSSH (SSH, SCP, SFTP)
• Webmin web-based control panel
• iptables firewall
• vsftpd FTP server with SSL support

Most software is provided with default configuration files in place. We are more than happy to provide advice and assistance with the initial configuration of the bundled software, particularly if you are unfamiliar with running a Linux server.
